Bilder aus dem Buch “Bilderbuch vom Asaka-Berg (Ehon Asakayama 絵本浅香山)", das Sukenobu 1739 als Schwarz/Weiß-Druck (sumizuri 墨摺) anfertigte. Die Blätter hier wurden später als Einzelblätter färbig nachgedruckt. Eine Frau hat sich für ihren Ausgang einen Kimono über den Kopf gezogen. Eine Gepflogenheit bei vornehmen Damen: der übergeworfene Kimono soll sie vor fremden Blicken und Staub zu schützen. Clark (vlg. Lit. S. 208): “By holding up the edge of the chrysanthemum pattern above her forehead, and walking with sleeves flapping and black hem flowing, she resembles a tancho crane (red-crowned Japanese crane) with its beak, eye, white plumage and black-tipped feathers.”
